Here at the Caribbean Food and Drink Company we are committed to providing you with superior customer service and are confident that the utmost care and attention to detail has been taken in the processing, packing and delivery of your order to ensure that you receive it in perfect condition.
However should you not be entirely satisfied or should the goods you receive be damaged or defective please notify us within 14 days of receipt and we will provide you with a replacement or refund. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Cancelling Your Order
Should you cancel your order, you may do so at any time by contacting our customer service and we will offer you a full refund provided we have not already dispatched your items. If we have already dispatched your items, we unfortunately will not be able to stop the delivery process.
1. This policy sets out the returns policy for goods or services purchased through the online store operated by The Caribbean Food & Drink Company Ltd.
2. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it, and it must be in the original packaging.
3. Damages: All orders/products damaged during transit will need to be returned to The Caribbean Food & Drink Company Ltd. We will arrange for the return to be collected by our courier at our cost. Once the damaged goods have been returned, we will check them and refund you for any damages, or if desired provide a like for like replacement. The Caribbean Food & Drink Company Ltd. will need the return of the damaged items, so that a claim can be made against the relevant designated courier.
Under no circumstances should the customer dispose of any damages without direct instruction from The Caribbean Food & Drink Company Ltd. The Caribbean Food & Drink Company Ltd will not refund any order unless the said order, damaged or otherwise has been returned received by The Caribbean Food & Drink Company.
In certain circumstances, we will allow the disposal of damaged or spoiled goods. This will only be allowed through a written email. We will under no circumstances provide such permission verbally.
The Caribbean Food & Drink Company Ltd will make every effort to pick up the return using our designated courier service. We will attempt to pick up the return for no more than a period of two weeks or 10 working days.
We will try to work with the customer to pick up at the customer’s convenience.
If after this period, we have been unable to gain a mutual agreed pick up date or time, full responsibility will be passed over to the customer, for the return of the said items.
The Caribbean Food & Drink Company will still reimburse the customer for any reasonable shipping cost incurred in such a situation.
4. Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, if you change your mind about a purchase you have made within 7 working days after the date of delivery you are entitled to a full refund of the original purchase price for the goods or services you wish to return, and the original postage and packaging charges made. You will not be entitled to a refund of the cost you incur in returning the item to us.
5. Our standard returns policy entitles you to a full refund of the purchase price and postage and packaging charges if you change your mind (i.e. the goods or services provided are not faulty or were not described properly) within 7 working days.
6. If the item you purchased was faulty damaged, or you think the order was not as purchased in the order description, please contact us first before requesting a refund as we may be able to resolve your problem to your satisfaction.
7. To return an item, please email returns@cfdc.uk. Please have your order number ready.
8. Once your return is received and inspected we’ll contact you to let you know whether your refund will be processed or not, and credit your original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
9. If an item you purchased was purchased with a discount voucher, then we will only refund the amount that you paid (and not the amount the item was listed for).
10. If an item you purchased was in a sale then it may not be eligible for a refund if you have changed your mind. If you are in any doubt please contact us before making the purchase.
11. In the case that Caribbean Food & Drink Company Ltd need to have your order picked up by our courier for return, we will only pick such order up from the same location as the original order was delivered to in the first instance, unless specifically agreed otherwise in writing by Caribbean Food & Drink Company Ltd.
