Seiko Prospex watches are designed for sports lovers and adventure seekers whether in the water, in the sky or on land. Since launching Japan’s first diver’s watch in 1965, Seiko’s innovative technology has changed global dive watch standards. This timepiece is a modern interpretation of Seiko’s iconic 62MAS diver’s watch from 1965. Modern additions are wider hands and Lumibrite for high legibility even in dark water, with 200 metre water-resistance and anti-reflection coated sapphire crystal glass for strength and durability. Zaratsu polishing on the case side is an eye-catching finish. This watch shape is nicknamed by Seiko fans as a ‘Samurai’ – because of its angular shaped design which looks as if it were sliced by a Japanese Samurai sword.
