Our online writing courses include weekly text lessons and assignments. Your tutor will provide written feedback on the assignments.
The writing courses do not run in real time, so you do not have to be online at a particular time or day. Your tutor will email you a new module and assignment once a week. You will have seven days to complete the weekly assignment and return it for feedback.
When a new week begins, you will still be able to access the lessons from the previous weeks.
An online writing course is flexible and allows you to participate at any time, from anywhere in the world.
No. All you need is internet access and a computer! Our courses are user-friendly. The tutor will email you a new module and assignment every week and all you need to do is read that email, write the assignment and send back the typed-up assignment for feedback.
Your tutor will send you written feedback on your assignments once a week.
You don’t need previous writing experience or study to take most of our courses. We offer courses for writers of various levels.
If you’ve read the course outlines and are not sure which course to take, you can contact us and we’ll be happy to help you choose the best course for you.
Fees must be paid in full before the course starts. If you need to withdraw from a course, please contact us at least two weeks before the course starts. We can then provide a refund, less a $10 administration fee.
If you withdraw from the course less than two weeks before the course starts, unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund.
If you wish to withdraw from a course, please email us at info@writingquarter.com.au. Informing a tutor does not constitute withdrawal.
The Writing Quarter reserves the right to cancel courses due to low enrollment. If we cancel a course, students will receive a full refund.
There will be writing assignments to work on every week. Students can expect to spend two to three hours every week on the course.
