TJM Occupational Health & Wellbeing

About TJM Occupational Health & Wellbeing

TJM Occupational Health and Wellbeing was founded by Tracie J Mckelvie.

Tracie is a dually qualified Nurse. She is registered on parts 1 & 3 of the Nursing and Midwifery Council [NMC] register as a Registered [General] Nurse, and a Registered Specialist Community Public Health Nurse [Occupational Health]. Tracie was also awarded the Queens Nurse title by the Queens Nursing Institute in 2018 for her commitment to improving practise, and in promoting high standards of care in the community.

Tracie has been a practising qualified Nurse for over 30 years, and has spent the last 20 plus years working in the specialist field of Occupational Health and Wellbeing. Tracie is passionate about the Health & Wellbeing of people, and having worked in a variety of settings and industries, this has given her vast experience, significant exposure, and an in-depth understanding of the potential detriments that work can have upon health, and health upon work.

Tracie is very well established within the world of Occupational Health, and she is an active member of several professional bodies; she sits on Specialist Interest, and Nurse Expert groups, all of which influence policy development in Occupational Health and Wellbeing.

As an independent Registered Nurse, a Registered Specialist Nurse Practitioner in Occupational Health, a Queens Nurse, a qualified advanced DSE / Ergonomic assessor, and in undertaking additional training in Health and Safety, Stress Management, and Expert Witness work, Tracie ensures that TJM Occupational Health and Wellbeing operates a quality, robust, and evidence based approach towards Occupational Health clinical practice, and workplace wellbeing.

In absorbing the experiences of many years of practise, and in taking every opportunity to further develop herself professionally, Tracie came to the conclusion that in order to achieve the ultimate job satisfaction in providing an end to end service that she is truly passionate about, and to the highest of standards, the best way that this could be achieved was to focus on working independently – thus resulting in the founding of TJM Occupational Health & Wellbeing.
