Ethos and Values:

Life, health, and wellbeing is SHILOH…”a gift” that we must cherish

At TJM Occupational Health and Wellbeing, we recognise the importance of not only nurturing the health and wellbeing of ourselves, but that of others around us too. We promote that people are individual, and we recognise that people have their own unique needs, and with this in mind, we are here to guide you in making the right choices for you, and for your staff.

Occupational Health is an extremely important aspect of workplace health and wellbeing, and while there are legislative elements attached to its concept, we believe that as good practise, Occupational Health should be viewed as a proactive and positive step in making sure that work does not impact upon health, and health upon work. However, when accessing Occupational Health services, many clients, and employees alike have felt a little disillusioned, and somewhat cynical. Some have described their experience as being “impersonal” and like “being on a conveyor belt”, while others have referred to Occupational Health as being “just a tick box exercise”.

TJM Occupational Health and Wellbeing was created to make sure that this changes, and the Business is committed in ensuring that whoever accesses the service does not feel this way. We respect and value health and wellbeing, but equally understand that this may have different meanings to different people. As Mae West once said, “you only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough”. Our aim is to help employers create a happy, healthy and sustainable workforce, and in observing that a large part of our lives is often spent in the workplace, our Ethos is based on SHILOH
