Here at VIP Air our pawssengers and passengers are our utmost priority which is why we’ve combined our most frequently asked questions about our shared private jet service, from pet travel documents to luggage allowances, we’ve got it covered.
Passengers
Please arrive one hour before departure and enjoy the private lounge area in the VIP terminal.
Once you have booked your seat, you will be provided with a charter confirmation with the address and directions/map of the private terminal.
Please ensure you bring your passport and pet documentation with you.
It is your responsibility to ensure you have the correct visa / esta for the country you are travelling to.
When you board the flight, you will be greeted by the flight attendant with a complimentary drink and directed to your pre-designated seat.
We will provide light snacks on board. The option to receive a 3-course meal is available to add to your booking at an additional cost when at checkout.
All passengers are welcome to bring their own snacks on board.
A full complimentary bar is available on board the aircraft.
Each passenger is allowed 20kg of luggage plus a small carry-on bag (tote bag) with essential items such as documentation, food, and in-flight entertainment.
Pets
A small area will be designated on the aircraft, with puppy pads, disposable bags and cleaning kits will be available if required.
At your destination a pet checker will be on hand to check over all of the original documents and scan your pet for a chip to ensure they are compliant with the country’s entry requirements.
If you have tried to book a seat on our private jet and have selected that your pet has an aggressive temperament on our booking form, you will be unable to book through our website. Please contact our expert pet travel team if this applies to you so we can gather more information on your pet before making the booking.
We will be able to provide assistance and knowledge to assist with the correct paperwork you require once your booking has been made.
If you’re bringing a dog onboard the private jet they are not required to be in a crate, but they do need to be on a lead. For our feline friends, we ask for them to be in a comfortable carrier for the duration of the flight.
When you purchase your seat on the private jet, this entitles you bring a maximum of 2 pets under 22kg or one pet over 22kg.
We would recommend avoiding feeding your pet a large meal prior to boarding, as some pets may experience travel sickness or may need to use the bathroom frequently while on board, treats and food can be brought on to the flight and can be offered during the journey.
