General

At Materials Market, we offer two convenient ways to purchase products: instant purchase by adding items directly to your basket, or by submitting an enquiry to receive offers from our suppliers. We are dedicated to ensuring the most competitive prices for instant purchases. However, for products typically not stocked or for bulk orders, we recommend adding items to an enquiry. Our network of suppliers strives to provide competitive offers within 30 minutes, with even more attractive pricing available for larger quantities.

Please note that editing an enquiry is only feasible prior to receiving any offers. Once you have received your initial offer, this functionality becomes unavailable.

Live enquiries encompass two scenarios: enquiries on which suppliers can make offers, and enquiries that have received offers within the last 30 days. An enquiry expires if no offers are made within the designated timeframe or if it has been more than 30 days since all offers were submitted.

Delivery

When submitting an inquiry, please note that suppliers may apply a delivery charge, which could differ from the standard rates mentioned above. Any applicable charges will be clearly outlined in the offer provided to you.

When you place an order with us, you have the unique advantage of selecting your preferred delivery date. WCS Trading stands out as the sole online service offering this feature. By default, we schedule delivery for the earliest possible date. However, if this doesn’t suit your schedule, you can easily select a more convenient date from the calendar during checkout.

We offer delivery services across the UK mainland. Please note that deliveries to Wales and Scotland may be subject to an additional charge.

Returns

To cancel an order, navigate to your customer dashboard and select the ‘Open Orders’ tab. From there, click on the ‘Cancel Items’ button, which will prompt a cancellation form for you to fill out. If you wish to return items, head to the ‘Completed Orders’ tab and locate the ‘Request Return’ button. This will initiate a straightforward returns form for you to complete. Rest assured, we will promptly follow up after you submit either form.

Upon receipt of returned items, your refund will be processed within 14 days.

Kindly note that perishable items such as cement and plaster cannot be returned, and collection and restocking fees may apply.
